➤Impress the audience

Do you start shivering by the thought of giving a presentation ? You are not alone. Lot of us get jittery while facing the crowd.

Follow these tips to get confident during your next face-off.

1) Take a start

Catch the audience by their collars. First seconds will decide whether you will be appreciated or not. This is called "helo" effect in psychology. You beginning can be a story, a news, a fact, an anecdote or a joke. People must get glued immediately.

2) Rule of THREE

On any topic today, there can be thousands of dimensions. Do not get tempted to cover more. Stick to the golden rule of THREE. People will absorb these faster and remember in future. Also, tell the audience in the beginning what you are going to say, say it and then in the end, revise quickly.

3) Power of Pause

PAUSE looks bigger to the speaker but the audience appreciates it no ends. Remember, they have come to get knowledge from you. When you pause, they get time to absorb and reflect. Pause also gives you precious seconds to plan your next part of delivery.

4) Dangers of slides

When you use slides for a long time, the darkness in the room or hall forces body to release melatonin. This is a natural secretion of the body to make you fall sleep. This environment will reduce audience involvement and and you will be demotivated.

5) Enthusiasm

Last important point is that you must be bubbling with enthusiasm while making a presentation. It is your work, you did lot of work and you believe in the outcome. If you are not enthusiastic about your delivery, how the audience will be. You can give, what you have. Have enthusiasm and smile during delivey. It is infectious.

Enjoy your next delivery.

Cheers !!!
