Good news is that the happiness comes easy. It does not require efforts, great job or lot of money.
Let me share the glamour of 99 with you....
The answers can vary. Most of the people say that they want name, fame, money, success and satisfaction. However, they all ultimately seek only one thing - Happiness. In an attempt to seek this elusive happiness, people get lost in "rat race".
The generations have changed from scarcity to abundance. Current generation is consuming way too much. They want more and more. We are pushing nature to the limits. The time has come when one has to be conservative in consumption. May it be food or materialistic things. The accumulation is causing stress and robs us of the quality of life.
People, all the world are beginning to realise that accumulation of things is taking us away from ourselves, relationships and our soul. Some rich people have voluntarily decided to keep just 99 things in their possession and get rid of balance. They confirm that they are much happier than before.
That means you do not have to sign anywhere. You do not have to become any member. You have to simply declare to yourself that you are part of the movement. That means you have to deliberately make efforts to live life with only 99 things of your own. You have to believe that you are keeping too may things which will never be used.
You need not throw balance things in one day. Just take out 5 items everyday, donate these or simply dump in the garbage. Anything which you have not used in the last two years will most likely never be used. You have the habit of keeping it...Just in case - for tomorrow. You will be surprised to see that even after two months ...you are still throwing things away.
